Working at Morse Hill: Now Hiring for Spring and Summer 2026!

Victoria, our director, co-founded Morse Hill in 1999. Inclusion and personal growth are the goals that guide her as she designs our programs and trains our staff.  Her lifetime love of the outdoors began as a participant in Outward Bound. She has taught countless people to swim, ski, bike, climb, be fit, be confident and especially, to love the outdoors. Victoria is most pleased when watching the "ah ha" moment that the natural world as teacher gives to people. She was a certified Massachusetts Health and Physical Education Teacher, a Wilderness First Responder, an ACSM Exercise Specialist, and a First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard Instructor. She was a certified Ropes Course Facilitator and Manager and is a PSIA Alpine, Telemark and Cross Country Ski Instructor. She raised 6 children and has 6 grandchildren. And, she loves her job!

Jess Evans (she/they), our Assistant Camp Director, has been at Morse Hill since 2020. They have held various roles, including teaching at our outdoor elementary homeschool during the pandemic and facilitating groups during programs. Jess currently holds a Ropes Course Practitioner Certification Level II and a Challenge Course Manager Certification from Project Adventure. She lives in Shutesbury with her teenager and enjoys hiking, gardening, and teaching the public about fungi.

Corinne Shaw (they/she) grew up at Morse Hill and has worked here for many years. They have also held many different roles, including as the administrator for our outdoor elementary program, as a counselor, and as a facilitator for programs. Corinne and her son Danny live locally and enjoy good sushi, getting out on the bike path, and finding everyday magic in the world. There is so much magic at Morse Hill, and Corinne finds so many ways to share that with all who visit.
